Monahans Man Dies At Road Intersection
A 47-year-old Monahans man Elbert E. Shellenberger died at the scene after a two vehicle crash at the Kermit highway state 176 and FM 181 intersection, near Andrews. John S. Knight of Ballinger and Barbara Shellenberger were in serious condition. Knight was later charged with homicide by the Texas Highway Patrol.
