Larry Os bore n, 32, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a fracas outside the Baugus Apartments in West Andrews. Marvin Tabert, 37, is hospitalized in intensive care with a chest stab wound believed to be from a butcher knife. Os bore n is jailed on a $2,000 bond per Sheriff J A Gregory. The incident happened around 11 p m.

All Nite Party plans are set for Tuesday evening at the Little Theatre of the high school. Officers include Maurice Simmons as chairman Donnell Hitch and Bob Erwin as co chairmen and Mrs James Eubanks as secretary. All senior parents are asked to attend and help with plans for the annual event.

On the Kermit highway a pickup and horse trailer owned by Bobby Duncan flipped after a tire blew, trapping two horses. A third incident near Andrews involved Richard Harrelson colliding with a parked pickup. he was cited for failure to control speed.
