All were transported to local hospitals by Seminole and Andrews ambulances.
The annual report shows the City-County Ambulance Service operated well but faced cash collection problems. Audit by Brannan & Cummins cites $4,330 cash received and $17,001 disbursed for the year, with $8,930 billed and only $4,329.71 collected.
The county hospital board approved five percent pay hikes for all employees in current positions for 30 months or longer. The raise adds to November increases for registered and vocational nurses at PGH. Rates may rise further to cover operating costs amid federal regulation concerns.
