Work Completed On Cemetery By County
County crews finished a well windmill tank and a two inch water main across Andrews Cemetery. Commissioner Bill Wilson says the county completed its part this week and citizens must clean up weeds and beautify plots. Burial plots now accessible by the main water line. Shrubbery and flowers may be planted to improve the grounds.

Budget allocates per capita fund to Andrews Co children
Andrews County Board of Trustees adopted a $360 budget last Monday night with $60 for board meetings and $300 for the County Judge’s salary. Bell Will Be Tried August 21 In Wreck Case
The negligent homicide case against L. Bell, driver of the truck that struck Bill Price in Andrews, will be tried this term of county court. Bell, initially booked as L P Bell, is now identified as C L Bell. Judge A H Dennison set 11 minor civil trials this week and nine criminal trials for the third week, with several guilty pleas in bogus check cases shaping the docket.

Old Timers Visit Andrews by Abilene Men
Abilene residents C. W. Logsdon J. S. Logsdon and J. R. Edson visited Andrews on Wednesday. J. S. Logsdon, an early Andrews settler, filed on four sections near Scarborough ranch headquarters and drove cattle from Gypwell in 1903.
