Larry Wayne Tucker 3 drank gasoline. Thirteen year old Stewart Spraggins suffered multiple abrasions. Elizabeth Savin a child from Bronstad overdosed on pills. Alanise Corina 1 month old cut hand on glass. Herbie Welch nosebleed. Michael Campbell head laceration. The run ended with scheduled injuries and emergencies.
The Bethel Baptist Church opens a revival with 11 a.m. morning worship led by Rev. J. Roy Haynes of Ira and singing by F. H. James of Andrews. Daily services start 10 a.m. with 7 30 p.m. evenings. revival ends next Sunday April 12. The church sits at NW 5th and the Butane Route.
A Marshall Cooper report shows 34 juvenile cases handled in February and March. One case was official with probation, 29 boys and 5 girls, with ages 13 to 16. Referrals came from parents, probation officer, police, and schools. 12 youths detained overnight, various violations counted.
