Fuhrman Petroleum Corp launches a 44 well program in the Fuhrman pool of Andrews County Texas over two to three years prompting a broad offset drilling push by other majors. Humble Oil expands in Means field with eight miles of proven territory for about 500 wells, while exploration continues countywide. Two Humble rigs drill the Means property as several wells report shows of oil or sulphur water and awaiting cement and tests.

District Court Adjourns After One Indictment
The district court adjourned last Thursday after transacting all business. The grand jury returned a single indictment naming J. E. Knight for driving intoxicated.
