Enyour reports astonishing cane juice yield near Stantonville

Mr Enyour of Stantonville describes an unusually large harvest of juice from cane grown by neighbor Mr Marshall Green. Ground eight stalks yielded one and one fourth gallons, then another similar batch followed. With rows three feet apart and cane eighteen inches apart, calculations show about seventeen hundred and twenty gallons per acre. He notes syrup requires six to eight gallons per gallon of syrup and cites corroboration from local witnesses.
