The Great Rush of Immigrants to New York in 1890

Condensed from the New York Sun. The immigrant influx to New York this year is seen as exceptionally large by emigration commissioners. Since January 1, 81,114 have arrived, with 1820 projected totals. Germans and Irish are prominent, while Castle Garden remains busy.
