Mulatto burglar sentenced after court antics at Barnwell

A Barnwell court heard a burglary case involving a about 25 year old mulatto man whose defiant behavior amused onlookers. He claimed his job was being a dawn state solicitor and argued he robbed a store to avoid his boss business. The judge sentenced him to four years in the penitentiary.
