Chautauqua notes and Niagara trip reflections July 20 1891
A teacher writes from Chautauqua and travels through Jamestown Clayton and the St Lawrence region. The account describes concerts lectures at the amphitheater, a Greek style Hall of Philosophy, and a miniature Holy Land exhibit. It covers Niagara Falls Toronto Montreal and city sights, plus a suicide at Niagara. The letter ends with travel plans back to New York.
