An amended city ordinance revises Section 4 to split annual health dues into two installments due Feb 1–Mar 1 and Aug 10–Sept 1, 1898, with option to pay in full at the first due date. Delinquency carries misdemeanor penalties including fines from 1 to 100 dollars or 1 to 30 days imprisonment. Mayor Hood signs in December 1898.
