An officer with service in the volunteers oversaw the experiment, with writers noting the offer of prize money and the subject’s nervous temperament.
Up-Country cattle traders We Gy Ware of Angustic Stock Yards and A Darwin of Charleston stock yards formed a partnership to ship cattle from Georgia South Carolina North Carolina and Tennessee to Cuba for slaughter or breeding.
