Lutherans Eye World Hunger Aid From Synod Members
Indiana Kentucky Synod of the Lutheran Church in America backs a World Hunger Appeal with a plan for 40 617 members to give 15 cents weekly and a higher goal of 33 cents annual raises 739 229 as total yearly aid. The May 22 24 convention at Indiana University Bloomington endorsed the effort and noted 23 55 contributed in early 1975 toward the LCA hunger fund now over 2 million.
