Mother and three children hurt in Sunday crash
A local mother Mrs. Ann Coats and her three children were injured when their car hit a tree after swerving to avoid an oncoming vehicle on 4th Street near Madison Avenue Sunday at about 8 p m. Mrs Coats, 418 West 6th Street, was hospitalized with facial lacerations and other injuries. Her children Bobbie, 8, Jimmie, 6, and Cathy, 6 months, were treated for bruises and abrasions. Mrs Coats remained for further treatment.

Self, Sheriff and Deputy Chase After Self Inflicted Shooting
