Markleville ESA chapter names officers for year
Alpha Pi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha held its regular meeting at the president Mrs Horace Hays home. Officers elected include President Mrs Don Dennis Vice President Mrs Ronald Moore Secretary Mrs Marilyn Byrd Corresponding Secretary Mrs Kenneth Lewis and Treasurer Mrs Lawrence Beckner. The educational program by Miss Martha Belle Shaw was Making the House a Home. The state convention is set for May 17 18 19 at the Spencer Hotel Marion with delegates Horace Hays Don Dennis Leland Stickler and Lawrence Beckner. alternate delegate Mrs Floyd Goberville. Marilyn Byrd chosen ESA girl contest representative for the convention weekend. 10 year member pins to be presented to Mrs C R Padgett Mrs Paulmer Keller Ronald McCormack at Sunday brunch.
