Miller GOP Chief Warns On Disunity
Harrisburg Pa Republican National Chairman William Miller warned disunity could defeat the GOP in future national elections. At a Capitol Press Club dinner he urged unity around core issues such as opposition to big government private enterprise fiscal responsibility and a firm foreign policy. He contrasted Democratic unity in primaries with Republican infighting and cited Kennedy Johnson and Humphrey as examples of post contest unity.
