Anton Maier 77 Dies at Home Southeast of Alexandria

Anton Maier a German native and longtime resident of this community died Monday at his home southeast of Alexandria after a heart attack. A farmer he came to the United States from Germany in 1905 and to this area 28 years ago. Survived by a son Tony a daughter Mrs Pauline Sayre five grandchildren and two sisters and a brother in Illinois. Funeral arrangements will be completed at Gipe Williams and Kyle Funeral Home.
