Many Careers Now Offered By Hospitals
NEW YORK UPI A guaranteed success formula from school to hospital not as a patient but as an employee. Hospitals, large town employers, now serve as career centers offering up to 200 job classifications from accountant to x ray technician. Training beyond high school is common and some youth can finance training while working in a hospital. The AHA notes hospitals employ about 1.7 million people in roughly 7,000 facilities, ranking seventh in total employment with one in 39 workers. Hospitals promise advancement for prepared workers and stress the need for varied skills and traits to run hospital operations.
