Mrs. Lena Ellerman Dies at 75 in Elwood
Lena A Ellerman 75 of 1025 S Ander son St Elwood widow of Emery Ellerman died Thursday at Mercy Hospital Elwood after illness spanning several years. She helped run Ellerman Dairy with her husband and was a St Joseph Catholic Church member born January 6 1890 in Andrews Indiana. Surviving son Kenneth Ellerman daughter Mrs Ted Conners two sisters and a brother plus three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Henry Carter 40 of Newburgh Indiana used the alias Henry Carver to seek treatment Feb 5 claiming insurance would cover a hospital bill totaling over 700 dollars. Police say he is unemployed with no policy and bound over to the grand jury on a 2000 dollar bond after hospital disturbance.
