Artist Exhibit On Tap In Fairmount Plans for Open House
Fairmount Historical Museum Board outlined a July exhibit by French artist Miss Sacha Hodson from Rueil France to showcase drawings at the municipal building during July 11 to 18. An open house Sunday July 11 from 4 30 to 7 p.m. honors her two large oil paintings of James Dean gifted last fall. A plaque dedication at Dean birthplace in Marion is planned for August 12 with support from local groups. Memberships and donations flow in for a permanent museum home including a $1 000 yearly pledge and a $1 000 building fund gift from the Bonnet club. The museum seeks alumni addresses and holds weekend hours for public viewing.
