Israel opposes main case as political question at UN
Comay argued Israel's differences with Argentina could be settled by direct negotiation. He said Israel did not share Argentina's view that diplomatic means had failed. Argentina prepared to present arguments that Israeli agents violated sovereignty in abducting Eichmann. Government stance unchanged by Ben-Gurion Frondizi meeting. Israeli delegation trusted Ben-Gurion to reach agreement, while Argentine sources at the UN showed little enthusiasm for the leaders' meeting.
