Montreal AP reports the Cleveland Barons will operate next season under new ownership led by Sanford Greenberg and George Sarely. The group assumes debts to Charkts Finley and banks, pays cash and notes, and faces league approval conditions. The deal follows a troubled history since the franchise became the California Seals in 1961.
