Memorial Commission Design Contest Details Corrected
A June UPI dispatch misreported that designs were screening for the memorial competition. Investigations show no entries have been received yet and finalist judging begins September 15 to 17 with six finalists receiving 10000 prizes. The final winner will be chosen December 29 to 30 with a 50000 prize. Howard Swearer is executive director of the commission. UPI regrets the error.
