Central June High will host summer school for seventh and eighth grade students. Classes meet in Anderson Senior High School with the same dates and times as high school sessions. Tuition is 12.50 per class. remedial reading is free. Social studies, general science, math, and English classes are state tax supported.
The board elected Charles W. Harbison Spencer as president and plans an early 1969 start for inspecting vehicles and separating unfit plates. Wells will stay as deputy commissioner of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles until July and push recommendations at the next meeting. The program aims to reduce graft with added state police beyond 25 assigned as needed to enforce inspection and certification. M Kinser 16 of 804 Maple St injured in a collision with a 196 Chevrolet driven by Robert Cox at the Ind 13 and Ind 37 junction. Kinser suffered a compound fracture of the left leg and facial injuries, treated at Merry Hospital, Elwood, then Ball Memorial. Cox vehicle had minor damage, no injuries to Cox.

Cramer born June 7 1918 in Kulligan Ind resided here since 1958 and leaves husband a mother a daughter Paula Wagner and a grandson Gregory Wagner with services at Hargold Kozelle Funeral Home and burial at Pleasant Walk Cemetery. Lagle died Sunday after a fracture and nursing home care and burial at East Maplewand Cemetery followed by services at Hanwly Rovella Funeral Home led by DrGeorge Tagpart. she had lived in Anderson most of life and belonged to First Presbyterian Church with several nieces and nephews listed.
