Legionnaires disease probe ends for weekend in Bloomington
In Bloomington Indiana investigators halted weekend operations after completing surveys of visitors from the first week of May to find common exposures. Dr Brenda Politi of the CDC and state epidemiologist Dr Richard Telle say no link has been found to IU Memorial Union where most patients stayed. Blood tests from hotel staff are being analyzed and surveys will be mailed to about 1000 visitors to identify shared health experiences.
