Dentist Teicher Faces Counts of Mistreatment
In Manhattan, dentist Marvin Teicher faces three counts of first degree sexual misconduct after three women testified they were fondled while heavily medicated during visits in 1975 and 1976. A schoolteacher and undercover investigator described being fondled and propped against a wall as Teicher sat nearby. The case, heard by Justice Dorothy Cropper without a jury, follows an inquiry sparked by reports of body soreness and mislaid clothing in Teicher’s office.
