SOUTHBEND Ind AP U S District Judge Robert Grant delayed action Wednesday on an injunction to prevent South Shore Railroad from cutting back service between South Bend and Chicago. Hearings set for next Tuesday after the ICC approved a 50 percent reduction, shrinking South Bend trains from 23 to four. The line runs 50 daily trains on weekdays, 34 Saturdays, 32 Sundays over an 88 mile route through Gary and Michigan City.
