Cromwell Current still flows near equator study shows

Oceanography researchers aboard the vessel Argo revisited the Cromwell Current and found it veers northward near the Galapagos rather than vanishing. The current does not differ much from surrounding waters and carries water along the equator with temporary diversions at the Galapagos.
