Area rescue as snow keeps Anderson woman at home
Madison County police and the sheriff's son used a four wheel drive to reach Bertha Thompson, 72, of Rt. 5 Anderson, who suffered chest pains amid heavy snowfall. She was moved to a location in Anderson for medical care after the responders cleared a path on County Road 50W near 375N.
