Three Stream-Flow Projects Voted in Indiana

The Indiana flood Control and Water Resources Commission approved three bridge projects to improve stream-low capacity. Plane en route to Scotland diverted after engine trouble

The four engine airliner from Goose Bay to Prestwick developed engine trouble about 600 miles west of Iceland. Air-sea rescue planes from Keflavik escorted the crippled transport in during the final two hours after the pilot reported loss of power and consideration of ditching at sea.

Rain and Snow Sweep Broad Midwest as Storms Spread

Moist Gulf air sparked a multi region storm with rain and drizzle across the Midwest Great Lakes and Ohio Valley as far south as Tennessee. Northern areas faced freezing drizzle while the Pacific Northwest saw more rain and California’s Sierra Nevada reported snow. Doctor says Eisenhower slowed his pace to guard health and may not seek a second term. The nine day vacation left him in very good shape and not fatigued. He has resumed hobbies with hunting and golf, playing 18 holes in back to back rounds.
