In Indianapolis federal conciliators adjourned indefinitely the talks between P. R. Mallory Co. and the International Union of Electrical Workers. Commissioner Arthur H. Pierson said the union demanded the adjournment and did not explain why. Talks may resume at his office’s call with no date set.

Public auction to sell described real estate in Madison County Indiana as part of a partition action in the Superior Court. The sale is set for February 25 1956 at 11 00 A M with a minimum bid of two thirds of appraised value. The property includes a home and 14 60 acres and carries tax encumbrances and an abstract to date.

Obituaries from Middletown and nearby areas list John Falconer age 24 of Van Nuys California died from carbon monoxide fumes from a faulty heater. Surviving relatives include mother Esther and brothers Fred and Robert. Funeral arrangements at Ballard and Shirey. Also memorials for L G Baker 63 Sulphur Springs and Claude L Huddleston 74 Charlottesville Virginia with services at Ballard and Shirley Funeral Home and Stour Funeral Home respectively.
A Lincoln Club gathering at Linder's this evening will host county GOP officials led by District Chairman George C. Chambers and county officers including vice chair R. H. Roberts and treasurer William Myers. Sen Capehart is expected to discuss a proposed farm legislative plan as a compromise among ongoing Congressional proposals.

Delinquent utility bills and purchasing department questions were reviewed, with A. J. Broderick and Louis Madden presenting reports.
