Bakersfield Geologist Plans Kidd Treasure Quest Off Nova Scotia

Bakersfield geologist George R. LaPerle and partners plan to use modern mining methods to locate Captain Kidd’s legendary fortune on Oak Island off Nova Scotia. They cite drill findings and parchment clues, noting past booby traps and fatal accidents. The quartet, with Restall’s widow retaining a small stake, has invested about 35000. They expect to begin before year end.
