Certified corrections leader Dr Jirka named by court
Dr. Rude Jirka senior director of the local YMCA and probation counselor is officially certified by the Indiana State Department of Corrections, announced by Madison County Superior Court Judge Paul Schrenker. Jirka holds multiple degrees including a law degree from Budapest and a PhD in stress physiology, with post doctoral work in penology and correction. He has conducted cardiovascular stress physiology research and published in professional journals on rehabilitation, and is assisting YMCA staff to organize a parent education seminar on crime causes.
