Greenfield Central Rallies To Beat Alexandria For Tourney Crown
Greenfield Central Cougars rallied from a first-quarter deficit to topple Alexandria 72 to 52 for the Madison Heights Holiday Basketball Tournament title. Kirby led GC with 17 points, Findlay 15, and Mullen Brooks and Jackson each 10, as GC outscored the Tigers after the opening period and secured the crown. Alexandria, paced by Monte Foster early, never recovered and finished 6-3 on the season with a January 5 return.
