Wismer wins $100000 in contested Lions stock case
DETROIT UPI The Wayne County Circuit Court approved a consent judgment awarding Harry Wismer $100,000 for contested Detroit Lions stock. Wismer sought to claim 1,200 shares worth about $280,000 once held by his former father in law Edgar Bryant. Bryant, a Detroit Ford dealer, held the shares. Wismer contended he had option rights when Bryant bought 200 shares and that the stock later split with William Clay Ford purchasing the club. Bryant will receive $180,000 plus any accumulated interest.
