Family Fight Ends In Death In Anderson
An argument between Edward F. Kauffman and his teen-age brother-in-law led to a single stab wound that killed Kauffman in an Anderson home on East Lynn Street. Eddie Connors, 26, was jailed on murder charges. neighbors heard the quarrel around 12:40 a.m. and police arrived to find Kauffman dying. Connors had reportedly fought with Kauffman multiple times that day over a stolen tape player. Kauffman, 23, of Anderson, attended Anderson High School and is survived by a wife, a son, and three sisters and brothers-in-law. Funeral services are planned with burial in Bronnenberg Cemetery near Chesterfield.
