Mrs Greenough served as state chairman in 1919 to organize the Indiana Women’s Franchise League and chaired the first citizenship school in 1881. She led the Indiana LWV as president in 1822 and 1929, sat on its board 1920-50, and presided over Indianapolis LWV twice. A National League of Women Voters board member 1992-39, she edited The Women Vater and authored study pamphlets. Burial planned in Leland, Michigan. two sons survive.
