Edward Detamore Delamore Dies in Columbus Auto Crash

Edward Detamore Delamore died Tuesday in Columbus from an auto accident. Funeral rites will be held tonight at 7 30 in Columbus with graveside rites Saturday at Portland. He is survived by his widow two daughters a brother and a step brother and a sister in Anderson. He served in the armed forces and worked for the civil service in Columbus. Arch Keltner 87 of 5725 College Ave died Wednesday evening in Indianapolis where he had lived 25 years. He worked in the Anderson post office and sang in a vocal quartet on tours. Surviving are his wife Mary a daughter Margo Keltner and a brother Charles Keltner. Funeral Saturday at 10 30 a.m at Flanner Buchanant Mortuary in Indianapolis.

A grand jury returned an indictment against Earl Dwight Noble 23 for second degree murder in the death of Jerry Lee North 24 both inmates of the state reformatory. North died from multiple stab wounds after a fight over $20. Noble pled not guilty in Circuit Court and remains jailed at the reformatory as the Jan 3 session begins.
