Moody's Quiet Comeback From PGA Slump Starts With Pars
Orville Moody 39, 1969 U S Open champion, returns to form in a string of PGM events at Pecan Valley Golf Club. He says his goal is "a lot of pars" with hopes of fewer heartaches and a better season, after earnings around $14 000 and a best finish of a tie for eighth at Robinson Illinois. Moody has won three PGM events and earned $18 725 in the series as he rebuilds his tour life.
