ASCS Sets Deadlines for Wool and Lamb Payments
ASCS announces that all wool or lamb marketing data must be completed by December 31 to receive payments for 1963. Denver Mays, chairman, notes that marketing after this date qualifies for 1964 payments. Wool remains marketable only after title passes to the buyer. Wool producers can file 1963 payment applications with their ASCS county office by January 31, 1964. Mays says participation in the Feed Grain Program will be required.
