Fire Causes Heavy Damage To Local Home Early Sunday
Firefighters battled a blaze at 696 Geeting Dr. owned by John Hollow, gutting two rooms and causing heavy smoke and water damage to the one story brick home. The fire was reported at 4:54 a.m. and three units fought it for about four hours. Chesterfield Fire Department responded at 6:36 a.m. after the candle left burning in the family room reportedly started the fire.
