Music Federation Scholarship Contests and Local Activities
The Indiana Federation announces NFMC sponsored contests for young and adult composers with auditions planned across Indiana in early 1974. Scholarships of 500 dollars each will fund an eight week session at National Music Camp in Michigan for outstanding instrumentalists. Auditions are set for Butler University and Indiana College of Art. Additional scholarships target orchestral instruments. Separate Christian fellowship and church group meetings feature devotions, pledge services, and holiday events at local churches and colleges, with officers elected for the new year.
