Bayh Calls GOP Tax Plan Needs Deep Spending Cuts
Senator Birch Bayh said a Republican plan to share federal tax money must accompany deep cuts in current programs. He noted some Democrats back the plan but urged dramatic spending restraint to fund any large remittance back to states. Bayh also criticized Nazi victors in West German elections and spoke on crime hearings and native tools to protect citizens’ rights.
