District Wins Honors In Soil Conservation
LAFAYETTE The St. Joseph soil conservation district is Indiana’s grand award conservation district for 1962 63. Runner up in 1961 62, it was chosen by a Purdue University expert committee from entries in the 16th annual program at the Goodyear Tree Rubber Co in Akron Ohio. Louis Lineback Lakeville was named Indiana’s outstanding farmer conservationist, and John Derksen South Bend will join a four day Goodyear Farms tour near Phoenix Arizona in December. The Wabash district named Elbert Locke Urbana as its outstanding farmer conservationist took second in Indiana. Cole said districts presently are.

New York Syntex fights 2.5 million tax assessment
