Israel Sees Egypt Missile Work Proof Near Suez Canal
Israel says it has conclusive proof of Egyptian missile deployments in the 2 5 mile cease fire zone along the Suez Canal. A senior Israeli officer showed aerial photos of four SAM2 battery sites within 15 miles of the canal, claiming movements began before the cease-fire and continued into August 9. The State Department argued there was no consensus on the claim, but the Israeli officer said the reality could shift the overall balance in the Middle East.

Madison County Public Schools announce bookstores at Jackson Township and Lapel for students to buy and sell books before the opening day of school. Superintendent Victor Evans notes transfer blanks may be kept at the receiving school for fall moves.
