Frankton Eagles aim for higher finish at Band Day
Frankton Eagles marching band, in their fifth year at the Indiana State Fair Band Day contest on August 23, trains 80 strong under Ron Hoffer. They field 60 musicians with 20 majorettes, performing a 1969 medley and Night and Day, led by drum major Ron Mitchell and majorette captain Nancy Marcrum. The group aims to improve on a 44th place finish from 1971 and seeks two performances on Band Day.
