Infant dies after car truck crash near Elwood
Four month old Shawna Marie Hinelick died of injuries from a car truck collision north of Elwood early Wednesday evening. Her parents and maternal grandmother were treated for injuries and the driver Farrell Beckley and his son escaped hospitalization. Funeral services for the infant were set for Saturday at Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. Burial is Knox Chapel Cemetery. The accident occurred at the intersection of County Road 1700N and Indiana 13. Authorities cited Beckley failing to see the Himelick vehicle at the stop sign.
