A $3 million hospital building drive in Anderson reached the two thirds mark last week with $2,030,522.38 donated and pledged. The Anderson Banking Company pledged $43,166 to the program. local bank support helped push total funds past the two million level. In Washington, Gen Nathan F Twining, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, faced questions on the Pentagon reorganization plan as he defended the size and scope of a potential staff expansion. Vinson pressed for limits while Twining warned against a blank check. Also reported, Brother David Schneider, 80, a retired barber at St Joseph's College, was killed in a two car crash near Marion, Ind.
