Concourse Bowl Transforms Amid Family Ownership and New Play
The Concourse Bowl in Anaheim is a family operation run by Bert and Robbie Ramone and sons Brandon and Bart Rainone. Facing declining league participation since the 1990s, the center shifted strategy to open play themed events and party formats to attract customers. Bert remains a daily presence at age 84, still bowling in a league with silver-toed shoes.
