Anaheim men take Buick on Great American Race

Anaheim men launch on the Great American Race, driving a 1922 Buick with a 27.5 horsepower engine. Tom Coad, Greg Poulin, and Bill Bogard prep their entry as 73 cars built 1908 to 1942 race 4300 miles from Huntington Beach to Wilkes-Barre. The crew navigates by time and distance, scavenger-hunt style, aided by the Orange County Buick Club. The car, restored in brass and chrome, began life as a passenger car in 1932 before becoming a truck in 1942 and was chosen for the race brochure cover.
